European Radiation Research Association for Young Scientists

What is EURAYS?

EU-Rays is an European association born to help and support young scientists working in the field of radiation research, focussing mainly (but not only) on low dose risk. The membership is free, and allows you to be part of one of the main community of young radiation scientists in Europe.

Mission

To ensure the long term sustainability of the radiation research field in Europe by promoting the interests of and development of young scientists.

Highlights

OPERRA call for 2015!

The key aspect addressed by this call for proposals is to increase cooperation between the four Radiation Protection Research fields that are low-dose risk research, radioecology, management of radiological/nuclear emergencies and dosimetry. The four European associations representing these fields are MELODI, ALLIANCE, NERIS and EURADOS. The work should be based on a comprehensive road map for research in these fields available in the Strategic Research Agendas (SRA) developed by these associations. Go here to read more about the application process. Deadline is 17:00 (Brussels time), March 12, 2015.
